![]() ![]() So just to be clear in 1 phrase: How can I make sure that when the user clicks on send an email to your taks manager outlook will open as a default program and only via registry setting(s). So I think this is a user setting as the administrator already has this set. However, if an administrator logs on to the computer and clicks on a mailto: link, for example, a website it does launch up outlook 2010. User starts up a program ( taxes ) and uses the button within the program to send it via e-mail.Ī popup apears informing the user that there is no default mail program. As soon as I have that key, I will configure it on the clients machine withįor additional information, hereby the real scenario: ![]() If not then I know that is they key I am searching. What I am trying to achieve is to find the key in the registry and modify it and look if outlook is still my default program. This is currently on my local machine on which Outlook is the default program. I have tried uninstalling/ installing office. I don't have the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Clients On the Outlook options I have tried setting checking and unchecking - Make Outlook the default program for Email Contacts and Calendar. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\mailto ![]() This look much better and more in the way I am searching, thanks for helping me out :D ![]()
